The Fort McKinley Museum is owned by the Diamond Cove Homeowner’s Association and operated by a committee of volunteers. Open from July-September, the museum offers exhibits on the history of Fort McKinley and also hosts several events throughout the summer. The museum offers historical presentations, tours, hosts visiting authors, and offers movie screenings.

Tours of the Fort are offered to any interested party by a group of volunteers. However we ask that you please sign up in advance by emailing and we will quickly respond and work to find a mutually convenient time for a tour of Fort McKinley.
Diamond Ave. from the DC dock to the gate, is open to the public where you will find historical buildings with signs containing QR codes for further information. The area off Diamond Ave is private property and requires a guided tour for access. Please respect the privacy of our homeowners.
